Did it feel like a huge chunk out of your day that where you were unable to get other things done? Will you continue meditating this much? Can you detail a bit more on a new mental state you experienced?

before i started i thought it would be eat into my productivity but the opposite happened. my mind became sharper and the mental clarity helped me do more with less output by naturally gravitating towards higher impact stuff, and just overall relaxing more. you just become way more sensitive about literally everything, and filter out the noise. stopped drinking coffee (for now) as well.

the new mental state which comes usually around the 40-42min mark on most days is like being submerged under water, where you see your thoughts, but it doesn’t penetrate your consciousness. feels like a superpower.

plan to continue. still super curious

is it 2 hrs in a row and do you have split sessions?

split. 1 hour in the morning, usually before sunrise. 1 hour at night, before eating dinner.

Do you keep on loving it, each and every day, or do you still get some resistance from time to time? Not that you must’ve had resistance against meditation in the first place but I’m just curious.

In what position do you sit in when you meditate? I find that I experience physical discomfort after about 25+ mins. Trying to work through that.

i optimize for comfort and a straight back, so i'm not distracted or fall asleep. first 30-40 mins i'm in "burmese" posture on my couch and then I just put my legs down to sit normally. position is not important.
