6 Things Thursday 💌
Hi there!
Here's another microdose of interesting things I enjoyed this week--written by me, Raad—CEO of LawTrades.
1. A product I'm trying out ⚡
Superhuman
Also known as the luxury email, this product is designed for speed. The desktop experience is structured entirely around keyboard shortcuts and the app constantly trains you to move through your email faster. But the mental load of spending $30/mo for an email service feels admittedly heavy.
2. A podcast I recorded 📚
Expand Your Mind With Continuous Learning
Stitcher / Spotify / Breaker / YouTube
Pursue your genuine curiosity and make learning a sincere hobby. It will make the hard days of entrepreneurship a little bit easier.
3. An article I read 💡
The Hidden Patterns of Great Startup Ideas
As an innovator it’s tempting to come up with something 100% original. But the truth is that nothing is 100% original, and the more you strike out on your own path, the less you know where it’s headed. It feels glorious to go all-in on something crazy, but…
Novelty is a risk. Too much of it, and you’re almost certain to fail. But too little of it and you’re just a redundant copy of someone else — which is also a recipe for failure. What’s needed is a balance of both.
4. A feature we shipped ➕
Behind The Screens: Add A New Client (YouTube)
I know this isn’t the sexiest release, but it’s something our lawyers begged us to make—allow them to add their non-LawTrades clients to their LawTrades Dashboard. This helps them centralize their offline and online work into one place. It’s part of our greater vision of building a new operating system for work.
5. A customer that signed up ☕️
Ember
They're essentially the Tesla of coffee mugs and I love it.
6. An answer I’m pondering 👭
Q: How do I have a beautiful relationship?
A: A relationship of peace is a relationship that is more parallel than perpendicular. It is two individuals that move side by side. Rather than two individuals that intersect. A maintenance of individuality and freedom results in the prevalence of peace.
Stay present.
