Privet,
Here’s another microdose of things I consumed or created this week, written by me Raad— Chief Psychonaut Officer at Space Cult.
1/ Letters I compiled
Every Berkshire Hathway Shareholder Letter in 1 PDF
Was inspired to this after reading Jeff Bezos’ Amazon letters, which apparently was modeled after Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholder letters. I was bored in quarantine so decided to compile every letter he wrote in the last 43 years because I think it’s one of the most profound business materials anyone could ever read.
2/ My WFH desk set up
3/ An album I’ve been working to
Nine Inch Nails — Ghosts V: Together
Spotify / Apple Music / YouTube Music / Google Play / Tidal
If you’re still not into listening to ambient music, Ghosts V will help you see the light. This collection is meditative, spacey, and soothing. I believe there’s a big correlation between music consumption and productivity.
4/ My current interests (Q2 ‘20)
This is my list of things I’m currently interested in and will spend the next 3 months learning as much as possible about them. Please reply back if you have any good resources on any of these topics:
Writing a short film screenplay
AirPods as a platform
Resume 2.0
Building a cabin in the woods
Cash flow analytics
Global macroeconomics
Psychedelic-assisted therapy
5/ A link I clicked
How the earth has changed over the past 35 years.
6/ A quote I’m pondering
“Wealth is a positive sum game and status is a zero-sum game.” — Naval

Building a cabin in the woods - Thought these were cool (https://archedcabins.com/index.html). Fell down the rabbit hole researching quonset huts for a personal creative/industrial compound in upstate NY I'm currently planning.
Cash flow analytics - If you can get your hands on a friend's CFA textbooks; Financial and Reporting Analysis specifically. Financial Statement Analysis and Valuation; Zhang
Global macroeconomics - Macroeconomics 1st ed. 2019 Edition; Mitchell, Wray
Stay curious. Love these weekly snippets.
You’re awesome raad! I’ve learned sooo many things from you.
