1/ An article I read
The Sliding Scale of Giving a Fuck
There have been a few times recently when I could tell someone felt far more strongly about a decision than I did. So, I acquiesced, with the hope that the next time I'm a ten-out-of-ten on a topic with that person involved, they'll recognize that and hear me out. If you can let go of the things that don't matter so much to you directly, you can build currency with others and earn their trust when you do wind up pushing back.

This show explores how a law of numerical probability (Benford’s law) applies to classical music, social media, tax fraud, and perhaps the entire universe.
3/ An email I read
Ryan Reynold's real out of office email after he sold Aviation Gin for $610M.
4/ A website I visited
Drive around cities while listening to their local radios.
5/ A place I screamed
Looks like you need to let it out
A perfect place to let your frustrations out from this year. Screaming lights up a part of our brain called the amygdala. The amygdala activates when we are under threat. Screaming allows your amygdala to release the stress stored there and move forward.
6/ A quote I’m pondering
"Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth."
